DSI Toys Inc. Names Michael H. Mancini Director International Sales

HOUSTON, Sep 20, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Company, DSI Toys Inc. (Nasdaq:DSIT), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael H. Mancini to Director of International Sales, a newly created position.
Mr. Mancini joins DSI Toys Inc. from MMS International and has over 20 years of sales, licensing and marketing experience in international business. Mr. Mancini will be responsible for DSI's international sales efforts including directing its existing international representatives and distributors, as well as enhancing the growth and development of DSI's international business into new markets. Prior to forming MMS International, Mr. Mancini was employed at Tyco Toys Inc. for 10 years where he was engaged in international distributor sales, licensing and marketing. He began his international career at Proctor-Silex where he last served as International Marketing Manager.
Mr. Mancini holds both a B.A. and a MBA from La Salle University, and is a former member of the Industry Sector Advisory Committee to the U.S. Department of Commerce on import-export policies.
