A lot of us simpletons are not bre-x shareholders...but shareholders of other speculative Canadian juniors who believe that commodities have been in a bear market for so very long and inflation is actually in paper assets..too much money chasing too few stocks..(ie index stocks currently-altho current correction has helped somewhat)... although this presents a buying opportunity for many of the exploration stocks...it has wrecked havoc on portfolios and has damaged confidence...we want that confidence to be restored..(.and a lot of individuals have lost buying power except those who went short) The timing of all these news announcements is really suspicious..if a lot of the brokerages had to settle their books right before the fiasco...a lot of people had to sell stock...that already put a downturn on the market...then mutual funds end of quarter also put a severe negative bias...then the Indonesian elections coming up next month...etc etc and etsoforth...the BRE-X saga has been going on for three plus years... wouldn't you be suspicious...then even the information on this thread..some have reported no local miners prospected for gold in that area...the government reports that local miners prospected for gold.. then news of fire sounding suspicious...then BRE-X said they had duplicates or whatever and nothing was destroyed that wasn't irretrievable..and then saying no samples of the original samples.. then saying ten percent saved.then Kaiser explaining how the gold could have been salted with a clear solution..then people saying the gold looked different to the eye..blah blah blah.etc etc ad infinitum... please add your ten cents to some of these issues.... bobby
