You are absolutely right about the data signal rate on the data bus at the max rate of 400MHZ, and the timing parameter requirements must be based on 800MHz rules. Today was my first time that I looked at the RAMBUS technology and failed to see that the data signals are not RZ or NRZ type (what do you call this type of signals? Return to next data? Am I correct in using the terms - RZ,NRZ?) Thanks for correcting me. My apologies to Tony.
