I don't know who's screwed up, the reporter, Stevenson, Nick Moren, or if there's a change in plans, but in late June, Moren was quoted as saying G* expected 3.4 M ave subs in 2002.

2.8M subs nearly five years after start of service of a system with a capacity of 7M would be pretty pathetic.
