Barb,

I don't know why Bill is 42 names ahead of me, and quite frankly, that list isn't one of my priorities. I didn't even know that my name was on the list until one of my friends from the "Z Best Place To Talk Stocks" thread pointed it out to me. I don't think my name has moved up or down on the list in quite a while, primarily because I normally keep a low profile and make no attempt to market myself. I truly would like to return to my low profile, and would do so if the folks here would stop bashing GUMM day in and day out. Enough is enough already. I'm just as tired of it as the rest of you.

You might also notice that the thread, Z Best Place To Talk Stocks, is on the top 100 most bookmarked subjects list. It has actually been on the list for a couple of years. The reasons, I suspect, are because we have honest discussions, have a very good track record as a group (our online portfolio is up over 100% this year and performed very well in 1997 and 1998 beta.siliconinvestor.com, and several very savvy traders post there who unselfishly give much more than they receive in return. Some of the regulars started using IRC and the thread doesn't get as many posts as it used to during the trading day. But the original precepts that brought us together still exist, and the thread remains popular. I have made no attempt to market or revive the thread because my priorities are to share ideas and make money, not to sell my name or the thread.

Best regards,

Dan
