Carl, Thanks for the responce. Looks like the effect of the K6 hype on INTC has worn off. The best I can assimulate the facts point to a minimal impact, if any, on Intel's bottom line. Could even be a positive as the people at Intel strive harder in the face of competition. Anyway I bought my first INTCW in late March. If INTC goes to 250 this year, I guess I will just break down and buy my wife a new car even though she dosn't need one. I have been thinking about shorting AMD at these levels. Do you really think it has to go to 90 al la MU to be a good short? OFF TOPIC: I use a local internet service provider called LDS iamerica (no relation to the old LDDS). I get it for $18.95 per month for unlimited use since I use their long distance service on the same telephone line. They have an 800 number for access all over the country for something like $3.50 per hour so I can use the same service up at the farm. When you were at IMB did you ever run accross a guy by the name of Dave Krick? He is an old running mate that I have lost contact with.
