sorry, myth, had to exit for a second... if you compare au to the s and p for the last year or so, au has performed nearly as well, and the chart comp. ignores the hefty dividend...true, the other golds haven't done as well, but one can keep selling the call options on them till the cows come home. this provides extra income while waiting for gold to rise (hah) and could be used for silly things, like fixing your car or buying a new suit for work, or important things like adding to your ebay poot collection... ike
