Benkea,

The TRADE REPORT came in over 25 billion, and I believe that they were looking for below 24 Billion.

In speaking to my contacts in the trade industry again, they still do not see any decrease in the imports for at least the next month, especially since it is at the height of the XMAS shipping season(JUNE-OCT/NOV) for imports. They tell me that the importers are begging for space, and the shipping companies have been able to raise import rates somewhat. Basicly, they tell me that the importers are begging for space on the import side.

Again the exports are improving also in terms of containers, since the export increases are in the basic commodities like wastepaper/paper products/cheap-chemicals(synthetic resin).

Well, the dollar should be effected again to the downside.
