REIC----from RB, hmmmm, wonder if there is any substance here: ************************************************************ By: hipster Reply To: None Tuesday, 21 Sep 1999 at 8:40 AM EDT Post # of 56 good morning all ,today will be a good day for all longs. spoke yesterday to tony who is the main negotiator for reic, the deal is done at 1.50 a share and will be announced this am. new company will take over immediately.i called back the company to find out who tony was and was passed to garfield who is the owner.he confirmed the deal without actually coming out and saying so,his words were "it's very positive " after wich this tony character called me back later in the pm and was kind of upset that i called the company. he said garfield is not allowed to talk about these things and that everything is a go. I'm just posting what i was told ,let's hope it happens today.
