I tried late yesterday to pick up some shares of various companies for a quick trade, but the specialists wouldn't fill my orders. I only got a handful of shares, which is probably going to be more of a nuisance than anything else.

I'm not sure anything out of OPEC will move the OSX up. Everyone is expecting the production cuts to remain in effect, so that's factored in already. I don't know about the API #'s. But I'm guessing that traders will use any news-induced bounces to lighten long positions. A bounce wouldn't surprise me, but I don't think it will be long-lasting.
