Samsung to Build Factory for Making 64Mb DRAMs September 21, 1999 (SEOUL) -- With the global semiconductor market expected to continue its brisk growth, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. said it will build an additional factory to produce 64Mb DRAMs. The company's new production facilities will be sited in Kyonggi province and will manufacture devices using 8-in. wafers.
