from the ClearStation community,Also taking a small (paper for today) position in IIJI or Internet Initiative of Japan Inc. It was an August 4th IPO. Float is 6.6 m shares out of 43 m. It is up hugely on momentum trading so one needs to time entry carefully. Business Week and Bloomberg have given it some press last week. "Internet Initiative derives fourth fifths of its revenue from Internet fees paid by 5,500 business customers and 52,800 individual clients. The company's shareholders include Japan's Itochu Corp., Sumitomo Corp. and NTT Communications, conglomerates that are making strong investments in Internet-related ventures. The company has said it will use about one third of the proceeds from the IPO to increase its network, particularly the busy route between Tokyo and Osaka." Please DD.
