Jones Naughton Entertainment, Inc. (OTC BB: JNNE), today announced the Grand Opening of the Company's e-commerce auction subsidiary, Auctionomics.com. The Grand Opening, set to begin at 6:00 a.m. ET Wednesday, September 22, 1999, will be supported by a marketing campaign similar to one designed for the recent launch of Jones Naughton's other e-commerce Web site, www.ShopGoOnline.com. Auction pieces procured for Auctionomics' Grand Opening include a signed Andy Warhol vintage animation art set of 18 cats, 25 classic erotic art pieces painted and etched by celebrated French artist Louis Icart (1888-1950), a $150,000 collection of handmade Russian porcelain vases and a superior assortment of estate jewelry. Nathan A. Wolfstein IV, Auctionomics' Vice President of Marketing stated: "We are intent on becoming a brand name in the online auction industry. Over the years we have developed a number of marketing and procurement techniques which will blend extremely well with the e-commerce nature of Auctionomics.com. Through detailed planning and effective implementation of our business model, we fully expect to build a successful and respected business within the Internet auction community." Auctionomics.com's e-commerce auction and clearinghouse is designed to give online buyers the power to research and locate specific assets being auctioned throughout the U.S., many of which are not currently being offered for sale on the Internet. Some of the unique product categories will include government surplus, coins and rare books, estate items, industrial machinery and equipment, as well as rare and fine artwork and financial instruments. Joe Naughton, Chairman of Jones Naughton Entertainment added: "Auctionomics.com will utilize advanced streaming audio and video technology to allow direct on-line bidding - putting auctions, auctioneers and buyers in direct communication throughout the world through its new Web site, www.Auctionomics.com. These enhancements will be made by the end of the first quarter 2000." The Auctionomics.com site will also feature auction news, category search, special events coverage, auction services and related links.
