The loss that Apple will announce this coming quarter is already known and is factored into the present price of the stock. I doubt that after the upcoming quarter the price will skid back again to the mid-teens, but you can never tell with any investment. If that is the case then I would have assumed that a savy investor like the Saudi prince would have waited until after the first quarter report. Why buy now at $18 or $19 when he can buy later at $15-$16 when investors hurry out of the stock. If a turn around plan is in the making and the investors are convinced then the price may not even be affected by quarter reports. If on the other hand Apple is sold to Sun Microsystems or bought by Ellison then the share price will definetely go up.
