qdog: Hey, my mind is so open about broadband that I need help. Have been trying as a nontech person to understand how the big wireless fiber stuff works. Own some of the operating companies such as TGNT, WCII, NXLK, but can't seem to get the technology into my head to stay, even though once in awhile I think I have a clue.

As best I can tell, all these systems use some form of time division but not TDMA, since these are fixed line of sight systems even when broadcast widely so that the reception can be at multiple sites. Still learning, or trying to.

Also the frequency use in the US is so complex that I get a headache trying to cope.

Would appreciate your helping some of us learn a little about all this on this thread. While I can not promise no nonsense here (there are always fools everywhere) perhaps this thread is a little less rigid and rah rah than some. I for one would be grateful for your help.
