If Ascend's CEO did say so on CNBC, he better be serious. As of Apr. 96, Ascend was not a member of the ADSL forum, so it was possible that they were not working on ADSL. If they are to have ADSL products by year end as said, it's reasonable to speculate that Ascend buys the technology. From whom? Aware may be cheaper than AMTX. (This is not a rumor. I just speculate -- And I was wrong before! :-) hqn
