DONNER CORP. INTERNATIONAL ISSUES SPECULATIVE BUY RECOMMENDATION ON PEN INTERCONNECT, INC.

SANTA ANA, Calif., Sep 21, 1999 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- The
following is being issued by Donner Corporation International, a member
of the National Association of Securities Dealers, CRD number 37702.

Donner Corp. International, an Investment Banking firm headquartered in
Santa Ana, Calif., today issued a Speculative Buy Recommendation on Pen
Interconnect, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PENC), Irvine, California, and
initiated coverage. Pen Interconnect specializes in contract
manufacturing services for original equipment manufacturers in the
computer, peripheral, telecommunications, instrumentation, medical
avionics and testing equipment industries.

The Donner report said by offering customers a complete turnkey
solution, including design, component selection, sourcing and
procurement, automated assembly, testing and shipment, Pen Interconnect
allows its customers to improve cost, manufacturing performance and
time-to-volume production.

"Pen Interconnect has developed a reputation for consistently producing
the highest quality, cost effective products from the smallest
application to the most sophisticated circuit board assembly and is
becoming a major player in the total turnkey contract manufacturing
business," the Donner report said. Pen Interconnect recently announced
third quarter revenues were $5 million, 78 percent higher than the
prior quarter.

The Donner report said Pen Interconnect "is strengthening its sales
force with increased emphasis on high growth segments of the
electronics industry. Management feels that its expandable line of
credit, recently negotiated contracts and a focus on higher margin
products will help to support the Company's growth well into the next
century."

"We believe Pen Interconnect's stock is undervalued considering the
high market demand for its products and services, the Company's stellar
reputation for consistently producing high quality, cost effective
products and the current low price of its stock," the Donner report
said.
