Dear freeus, I have had the pleasure of meeting you in person and exchanging posts with you over the last year, so I am aware that you are a serious and successful investor as well as a completely lovely lady. I'd venture to say your portfolio's value has as many commas in it as anyone's on this board, and that your LT returns would be the envy of most. While I'm aggrieved at the attack you suffered this morning, I urge you not to take it personally. A small number of the LT investors in Q believe their involvement over the years affords them special privileges beyond an incredible increase in their net worth. As such, they feel it perfectly reasonable to be arrogant, exclusionary, and rude to anyone not in their clique. Fortunately, most of the LT Q investors are more than willing to share their knowledge generously, recognizing that new "believers" will only enhance the value the market places on their investment.
It was very kind of you to take the time to investigate a company tour. But since that week will be incredibly busy for Q, with the financial press, analysts, bankers, and BOD descending on them, I am not surprised that they didn't have the resources to accommodate your request. And since the outsource their IC's and the terrestrial phone division will be sold by then, I don't think it would have been very interesting <watching engineers think is a bore>.
Maybe Ramsey can get us some discount passes for Sea World <g>.
