Doug,

I agree that no earnings warnings are most likely a positive sign. Do you know what the legally required quit time is prior to a companies earnings aanouncement? If most of these companies are in this mandated "quit time" then I guess we wouldn't expect any warnings.

BTW, do you know when AMAT announces earnings? Hope they come out with good numbers. All the analysts interviewed lately seem to be indicating that semis are a group that may come out with strong earnings. What do you think?
