I hope that the thread doesn't have the impression that I have my head in the sand or that I am fiddling while Rome burns. I am extremely nervous with this market. I don't believe I have ever been more concerned, however on down days bearish psychology usually runs deep. Mine too. However, after carefully rethinking my positions, I very deliberately stayed long after rationally looking at the near term technical factors. The truth is we should all be nervous in times like these-- to not be nervous would make me wonder as to someone's understanding of the market. I've found that over time the best plays I make are when I short hysteria <gg>. Maybe I'm a little contrarian, but I tend to fade public sentiment. Matt
