flstf, i do not disagree with you. i am saying i do not know. i was trying to point out that the market for rambus has huge boundaries and growth can potentially come from several different directions. some that i visualize: increasing pc, workstation and server dram requirements. increasing pc and server sales due to upgrades as well as expanding market. new rdram using products. some we know of or have strong reason to believe: graphics chips, high speed telephone equipment, hdtv, hd dvd, sony playstation II, a network chipset, copiers, scanners, printers, fibre channel switches, etc. unclewest
