Mine wasn't a very good post. I should have
tried to say something about the difference
between Christianity as a business, the
hypocrisy, and trying to be Christlike.

Finding God is an entirely different matter, and,
for me, seems not to have anything to do with being
a Christian.

Until I take my vow of poverty and go on Walkabout
to find my God in Nature I'm afraid I don't have
anything too deep or inspired to say about the whole
thing: Just that some Christians often don't seem very
Christlike--Crystal Castles and those fancy Yuppie
churches with the rock bands--too much for me.
Then I think of that Catholic nun, mother Theresa--
the self indulgent new age Christian movement should
be ashamed...oh well, plenty of room for all of us
to feel ashamed at times.

By the way...I went from accolyte to atheist fifteen
years ago--so I should not presume to know anymore what
it is to be a good Christian, don't keep up with the
rule book--and I rarely read a book twice, so unlikely
I'll be spending any time with the Bible. The dictionary
is one I need...getting a red mark for accolite, heheh.
