NewsPage.com Names Liz Roman Gallese Vice President, News and Information

Veteran Journalist to Direct Content Development at No. 1 Provider of Individualized News and Information on the Internet

BURLINGTON, Mass., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- NewsPage.com, Inc., the leader in delivering free, highly individualized news and information to business people over the Internet, today named Liz Roman Gallese to the position of vice president, news and information. Gallese will lead the company's initiatives to enhance and expand the content that NewsPage.com delivers to its growing community of business users.

Gallese joins NewsPage.com following more than 25 years as a news journalist and author, including positions at several of the most highly respected business news organizations in the United States. Gallese will report to Ilene H. Lang, president, chief executive officer and director, NewsPage.com.

Most recently, Gallese served as editor of Entreworld, the leading Web site for entrepreneurs. She developed and led all editorial operations at the site, from creating high-value original content to establishing a rich archive of articles for entrepreneurs collected from a broad range of information sources.

Previously, Gallese opened and established the New England Bureau of Bloomberg News, the national electronic
business-and-economic news service, where she led coverage of the region's economic development, financial institutions and publicly held companies. Her breaking news and feature stories for Bloomberg appeared regularly in hundreds of major newspapers, including The New York Times and The Boston Globe. Prior to Bloomberg, Gallese worked as a free-lance writer and lecturer. She published a book, Women Like Us, and authored dozens of major articles for national business and consumer publications, such as Fortune, Mademoiselle, The New York Times Magazine, Boston Business, Savvy, Forbes and Inc. Prior to becoming a free-lance writer, Gallese served for 13 years as a reporter and special writer for The Wall Street Journal, where she reported and wrote feature articles and financial news stories.

Gallese received a MS degree in journalism from Boston University and a BA degree from Skidmore College.

A former lecturer and instructor, she taught writing and journalism classes at Harvard University and Emmanuel College.
