You are looking at the wrong market place. Linux will not replace Windows or Macs except for geeks like me. Linux is important in the Internet Server or the server environment. No matter what Microsoft say (and I own MSFT also), the free ware Apache Web server is still the most popular web server environment (or app). Linux (Red Hat) knows this and has added to their platform. This is the market you have to consider or look at if you want to compare MSFT and Linux. Geary
