ron, i thought the stats were entirely misleading. i saw the number of serious punches as about even - one each -ng-.

seriously, oscar threw a lot of air punches that seemed to get counted. the other thing that hurt oscar is that he would throw 8 punches in 2 seconds and then nothing for 2 min. felix would throw 1 punch every 15 seconds and keep closing and attacking. the latter, imho, looks much better than the former.

my friends had oscar as the winner. i had 6 or 7 rounds where it could have gone either way. oscar could have won. in my mind, though, you step in the ring to remove all doubt and not hope somebody values your "style" in a close fight.

i think oscar learned that sat night.

the real travesty is that they both couldn't lose, imho.
