Carl, the fact that you have something to write your MTCI debacle off against indicates that you have indeed learned something from this horrific nightmare. I, too, have walked away a couple thousand dollars poorer, but far richer in terms of education. The Peter Morris' of this world are a lot easier to spot, and I have not thrown money at companies like MTCI since I last tried to average down a couple years ago. As soon as I see a hint of dilution, I head for the hills. Another lesson learned : Let sinking ships sink, and get off board asap. I have yet to "sell" my mtci shares. I guess I am holding out for $11. LOL... I'll dump soon because I need the writeoff as well. DODV and SIGM have allowed me to post a 300% gain thus far this year. :-)
