Well have a juicy tidbit that I would like to share with this thread. I have often contributed some of my rudementary TA and have been supportive of AXC (for the most part). I am of course still trumpeting the action the price AXC will not do anything until news is released by the company, and since Bramson et al. control the flow of information, no major activity will be forthcoming until such news announcements are made --by them. HOWEVER SOMETHING MAY BE AFOOT!
I have been told that there is indeed an agreement with a another major hard drive manufacturer immenant. I have long suspected that no release of this type of news will be made until, or right before, the shareholdes meeting in May. That would be the best way to diffuse any unhappy shareholder that would like to seriously question managements tactics (ie the Chrsitmas vaction fiasco - KM signing, and the latest AXC wins coutersuit - IR on vacation). And if one looks at the possible timing of the patent infringement suit now underway, an announcement may be forthcoming -- also right before the shareholder's meeting. Again..what perfect timing for management!
As for the possible KM agreement, its not the player that I would have like to see. If you have followed my posts I have said that the player for us would be Western Digital. However the agreement to be signed is with perhaps the "second" best, and may just "jumpstart" the signings of additional contracts....mostly due to credibilty. I would then like to now throw in my 2 cents worth... My sources have indicated that it will be IBM that will sign onto the KM technology, and that it is will be happening shortly. I still believe that any agreement will be "withheld" for a few weeks, but this is to be expected, if the scenario I think is happening is going to happen.
This is of course my humble opinion, and this info and 75 cents will get you a cup of coffee just about anywhere! But I was told this info without the other party knowing my knowledge of AXC, the upcoming shareholders meeting, current litigation status, etc. In fact, it was eluded to that they have agreed (IBM and AXC) to not "pre-announce" this deal for a few more weeks. OK, you brokers on this thread...Let us know if there is insider activity with respect to AXC. In addition, if I recall many many posts ago, someone noted that there was ndeed a link to an IBM techno head and the KM technology. If you have that info, or an update it may be beneficial.
If anyone has any insider contact at IBM, preferrably in the legal department (since this is a contractual obligation) with no real "hard assets" to be bought /sold it would help out a great deal. In fact, a no comment on a KM deal would be even beneficial, confirming that the IBM legal heads are aware of KM. Remeber the techno head from Western Digitial not knowing about AXC and KM technology. Well if the legal clones at IBM are aware of KM technology, they must be smarter than the Western Digital techno heads!
Well, thats this weeks post, and I hope sincerley that this is correct. I still feel very strongly, (even mores so now) that shareholders are going to be treated to some spectacualr news. However I still have a stop loss limit as well.
