AMRESCO and Lend Lease Agree on Exclusivity Period

DALLAS, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- AMRESCO, INC. (Nasdaq: AMMB) announced
today that it has entered into an exclusive dealing agreement with Lend Lease
Corporation (ASX: LLC), a global real estate and financial services company
which ranks as the leading manager of real estate for institutional investors
in the U.S. The agreement provides for an exclusive dealing period for due
diligence and the negotiation of legal documentation relating to the potential
acquisition of the Company's asset management, commercial mortgage banking and
servicing, and real estate structured finance business platforms. The
discussions between AMRESCO and Lend Lease Corporation are preliminary and
there can be no assurance that any transaction will result.
