<<I have to agree with Jim Frost---such wonderful news out today for Q. The nationwide CDMA footprint afforded BAM/VOD will accelerate all things CDMA, be they handsets, ASICs, base stations, ASICs, data, different ASICs, and royalties(of course). The two CDMA systems(Sprint, VodaBAM)will now compete to offer the best coverage and best services. That means accelerated buildouts for digital voice service coupled with data rollouts earlier than initially thought. Will VodaBAM allow Sprint to be the only data provider? >> Well stated, this is indeed great news. The pressure should also build for AT&T to scrap there TDMA sooner.I have a question concerning SMR and Nextel.I know this is essentially a TDMA system. How are they going to support data with this system?Won't they run into a wall with there attemps?
