Some comments on Thinphone.

Stopped into Honolulu office of Sprint to inquire about Thinphone. Actually had some in stock. Sales rep geve me a demo. $99.95 less $30. mail in rebate. Really light (about 4 oz.)especially compared to Q phone. About same as Startac. Internet access is available but not all features available-at least here in Hawaii. Would be awkward to use reading news or email.

Was told there is a kit coming in about a month which allows you to attache to your notebook PC via serial to browse the net. Price about $200 discounted to $100 during intro period. Anyone familiar with this?

I too am sold on this one. Will give up my Nokia when my contract expires in December. $50 month for 500 anywhere on the Sprint network minutes. Some added fees for internet access I beleive.

Anyone looking for a thinphone who can't get it locally now might call Honolulu Sprint. 808-524-4545 is their number.

Aloha
