Because I live in this world, I judge the world by the world standards. I'm wrong for doing it, but I am a sinner and I am wrong about a lot of things. To this society, murder is a horrendous crime.
Lying, well, just look at the Clinton thing and you'll know how society looks at lying. I think we could see it doesn't really bother as many people as murder does.
But to God, sin is sin, regardless of the sin! This world, well, this biblical verses sums up how God feels about it....

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
I am guilty of judging sin using the worlds standards. But thank God he sent the Messiah as our Lord and Savior. I can make mistakes and through him I am saved........
