Companies like Motorola (MOT) and Qualcomm (QCOM), which have
limited exposure to Taiwanese foundries, will lose less than 2% and 1% of
their total revenue, respectively, according to Merrill's Michael Ching.
"Overall, we see only a modest impact from the earthquake and reiterate
our Accumulate/Buy rating for Motorola and Qualcomm," Ching says in a
note Tuesday.
