JAKARTA, Sep 22, 1999 (Asia Pulse via COMTEX) -- Computer assembling company PT Zyrexindo Mandiri Buana (Zyrex) said it has managed to grab a 7% share of server market in the country during the second quarter of this year. Werner Sutanto, the country manager of Intel Indonesia Corp which grants the production licence for Zyrex, said the firm's success indicated that local server firms could compete well against foreign vendors. A report from International Data Corporation (IDC) said the server market in Indonesia was dominated by six vendors in the first quarter of this year.
