Alan,

Fortunately my entry point was below 70 the day before, so I cleared over 2 points. The shake out was not a panic. I had set a mental stop at 72 1/4 because that seemed to be a good support level for the prior hour plus. It also represented the breakdown point on a trendline for the day. If my average trade was as good as this one I'd be one happy camper. I have a ways to go to make that a reality.

Perhaps this is one of those cases where the failure to follow through on the breakdown was an indication that things might break out the other way, but I don't have the liberty to jump in and out at will in this account. If there was something I should have seen earlier to tell me to stay in, I'd be interested in knowing that.

Dan
