The release says the boxes use Aperios. Aperios (I have commented on it before on this thread) keeps popping up whenever Sony does some new stuff. Unfortunately Sony is trying to reinvent the wheel, when they could just go out and buy VxWorks. Anyway, Aperios usage inside Sony is EXTREMELY limited. Most of the groups use other commercial off the shelf RTOSs.
