The world should side with India because Indian Govt did not move 10 million Indians to Kashmir from other parts of India, thereby changing the local culture, demographics etc.

Well, that might have been true so far. But with a Hindu fundamentalist party in power, and with forces like the RSS and the VHP holding the strings, there can be no such guarantees for the future.

There sure is. The above is a consequence of article 370 of the constitution. Article 370 cannot be abolished by the BJP with a simple majority, and even if the BJP some time in the future ever gets 2/3 majority both in the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, a very unlikely scenario, top legal people within the BJP themselves have expressed their opinion that article 370 is part of the fundamental structure of the constitution and cannot be amended.
