ROTFLMAO......your due diligence is awesome.

It was a simpler deduction than it might appear. Cox is the only cable company currently deploying the Starsight guide as the others (T/TCI & affiliates notwithstanding) are waiting for settlement of certain legal matter(s). The native guides in the SFA analog and Discover 2000 digital boxes were also licensed from Gemstar although SFA marketed them as 'their own'.

Anyway, thanks for saying that even though I may not deserve it.
