Basically, I have forgotten what I said about IMII. However, their lack of immediate success is not hard to understand if you understand the product they're selling and the market they are selling it to. First of all, IMII's product has no current competition outside of laboratory technicians doing the tests manually. Second, it is expensive but they have plans to both sell and lease the products to hospitals in order to make the financial aspects as flexible as possible. Thirdly, the machine will save hospitals money in the long run because it reduces the need for manpower which is much more expensive in the long run. I used to be a Medical Technologist and have done these tests the manual way many times, so I know what I'm talking about. Fourth, their lack of significant sales their first year in the business has a simple explanation. Hospitals are under tight budgetary constraints these days and it will take time for them to factor in the expense of purchasing or leasing on of these machines no matter how impressed they are with it's performance. Have you ever been involved with the purchase of a major piece of laboratory equipment for a hospital lab? I have. The red tape alone takes months to wade through. Their collaboration with Coulter to market their product was an excellent move but will take time to mature.

I have no doubt that IMII will be a huge success eventually. However, people these days seem to think that if the stock price of a company doesn't sky rocket right from the outset, then there must be something wrong with the company or their product. Guess what? Stocks go up AND down. The first quarter that IMII posts any real sales the price will probably double. I bought it at IPO and the stock was "hot" for awhile. I sold it at a tidy profit because I knew it couldn't maintain it's price UNTIL it actually sold some machines. That doesn't mean I won't get back in when the time is right and I sure as hell don't have anything to bellyache about where they're concerned.

In either case, what does all this have to do with PRLN? They are two entirely different companies. How PRLN's products are recieved by consumers remains to be determined, so what is your point?
