Samsung Appoints Brightpoint as Exclusive Distributor in Australia
INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1999--Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL - news) announced its subsidiary, Brightpoint Australia Pty. Limited, has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with Samsung Electronics Australia Pty. Ltd., an affiliate of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Brightpoint will be the exclusive distributor of Samsung GSM mobile phone handsets and accessories within Australia.
