Yes, the tide of the general market will raise or lower the average, but we have no control over the tide, only control over which particular shares we hold. So after seeing bright red on PLT yesterday, I read everything I have on Pallet, including all the posts on this thread--sort of re-assessing my position....I came to the conclusion that if I wasn't in so deep already, I'd be buying more....The quarterly report wasn't so bad when you consider that it covers the slowest 3 months of the year, lumber prices were up, and yet Pallet managed to keep EBITDA flat, while growing the Palletbanking system....Building and running a business is a whole lot slower than share trading, we can buy and sell by punching a few keys, but management is out there competing in a day-to-day, low-margin business....I still think the most useful review of Pallet would come from their customers, does anyone have contacts there?....I'll be giving Pallet another 2 quarters to show a definite trend to profit.... |
