Wally: Thanks for the Walmart article... It wouldn't surprise me if Walmart does a spinoff IPO focused soley on the internet... This would give Walmart a group of executives dedicated to making the internet presence a success without having to look over their shoulder at brick and mortar executives... Also, shoppers would have the convenience of placing an order online and receiving it in the mail or picking it up at their local Walmart... Returns could be handled in the same manner... With over 3000 stores across the country this becomes a workable symbiatic relationship between brick and mortar and online... Lastly... Walmart has the best retail management in the business that only knows success, and is putting together an internet strategy that will be well thought out and tested for success... Jim
