HCCAD update. I just spoke to NASDAQ on HCCAD. There is not a reverse split going on with this company. The reason for the D, "the company wanted to keep the same symbol and do a name change."
They pulled up all the paper work and there is no reverse split.

The only other thing that changes, will be the CUSIP #.

Now, from my understanding; I have seen companies literally change their name to force the shorts to cover.

Because from what I have been told, when the Cusip # changes, somehow it forces the ones shorting the stock to cover, because the brokers contact those people who shorted the stock to request their certs or something in that manner.

I only know of this happening one other time and I was witness of it.
It happen on IGHS. They did a name change and a symbol change to HQNT. Once they did it the stock ran from .50 to $3.00 in a matter of days. The run did not start til the the day of the change.

I was told the Cusip # will change on HCCA.

This is the NASDAQ # if anyone wants to call it.
