Again, I find it curious that you don't see that you are doing exactly what you are complaining about others doing to you.

"Imposing via democractic process" is functionally identical to "forcing down the throat of others" but the words of the former phrase convey a different tone than the words of the latter phrase. It's just stylistic. If the speaker likes the result, use the former phrase, which sounds scholarly, if the speaker doesn't like the result, use the latter pejorative phrase.

"Beautiful people," as you use it, is a pejorative. "Derogation du jour" is also a pejorative.

All you're really saying, IMO, is that you don't like what the other person said and you don't like the way they said it, but you're using pejoratives and invective to characterize the other person and the other person's argument, so what are you accomplishing? You're doing just what you say you don't like, which isn't likely to convince anyone that you're correct, or that they should stop.
