K, Thank Mr. K for the advice. Shooting under the oaks would work, but a lot of oaks are on the other side. Hmmm, protecting the dish makes a great deal of sense. The installation people made a follow up call last night. I had a very nice conversation with them. I was assured that the gentleman knew the business well and would have installed if there was a good chance of it working. In the mean time, I looked at the direct TV web site. Bell Atlantic does the service work for them. I might see if there is a sight line to their satellite. After all, all those birds can't be parked in the same place.<g> Looks like another fun day for the market. Yuck!! NW
