Hi All:

Reviewed several opinions. Any comments on the following scenario? :

For the next 6-7 weeks, INTC remains in the range 115-155 ??
(no-matter what the earnings :-) )

Reasons:

(1) It climbs upto 155 in the April 2nd week on the market rebound and expectation of good earnings by general population. (2) At 155, recently experienced downtrend then reminds professionals that the risk/reward ratio is not worth it anymore, and they start pulling out. (3) The cockroach-theory ("Probability of sighting an isolated, single fed interest rate hike is almost nil") fears kick-in again, bringing the overall market down once again; INTC also cools off after earnings and drifts down to 115 again. (4) At that point, the risk/reward considerations again pull in some buyers ... and we start swinging again?

Implications:

Near 155, if volume weakens, buy puts and near 115, if volume weakens, buy calls ??

It will be interesting to cerebrate on some of the factors which may potentially perturb this delicate short term equilibrium!

Disclaimers: standard ones as always, has several assumptions etc.
