The huge rise in dram prices is "primarily" in the spot market. Dell and Gateway would for the most part have contract pricing. Contracts are starting to rise as well but no where near as fast or as often as spot price. There is not much public data on contract pricing, but the last I saw was around 7.50 to 8 bucks for 64m pc100 chips. Hope this helps nolimitz
