this is a fire sale at the gap. the leather promotion and old navy will produce record earnings for the christmas 1/4.remember, leather sells for $200 + . that means big rings at the box and big grosses. there is plenty of spending money out there.steve jobs is on board now. banana republic will exceed their expectations. retail in general will have a huge christmas. staples (spls) is also on sale today. no down side left here. ya gotta' buy 'em when nobody wants 'em. rocky
