To All, msnbc.com Intel has run up on this news, but you have to wonder what sort of bribe they paid Gateway to pick their lesser chips over the Athlon. As a direct seller, Gateway deals with dumber buyers who may not know there is an AMD chip. So, they may be able to fake the "Intel Inside" scam to these folks. If Gateway was larger, it would be a big blow for AMD. But, since they are so dinky, it is not a big deal. If somebody else follows suit, it would be.
