The only caveat is the Nov fomc meeting. If AG comes out with a tightening bias 10/5, there may be more holding pattern until we get the Nov meeting out of the way. Theoretically, the Fed could maintain this holding pattern indefinitely by continuing to issue tightening biases, but never increasing the interest rate for the third time.... Given that he is concerned about the asset bubble, but would not want to precipitate a serious market downturn, the continuing tightening bias approach is plausible. Of course, actual economic developments would force his hand one way or the other, eventually.
