Devil, what do you expect a company to do? When production of a revolutionary chip is about to hit the market, should they just sit back and relax? They are performing their duties and appropriately informing pertinent entities. This is a huge event!!! The next generation of a photonic device is about to be produced for the market!!!!

Call it promotion if you'd like. I prefer to call it a small part of corporate marketing strategy. DELL, Microsoft etc.... has news about them everyday. No one's accusing them of promotion. It's called "marketing".
